Built from real problems
Products begin with repetitive, fragmented or error-prone professional tasks—not a technology looking for a use.
About the studio
fr.aime labs is a small software studio founded by structural engineers. We build practical tools where analysis, design and technical documentation meet.
WHAT WE BUILD
Our work combines structural engineering experience, practical software development, technical-documentation workflows and applied automation. The aim is straightforward: make demanding professional processes clearer, more reliable and more repeatable.
That means understanding the underlying mechanics, the decisions an engineer must make, and the form an output must take to be genuinely useful in a project.
OUR PRINCIPLES
Products begin with repetitive, fragmented or error-prone professional tasks—not a technology looking for a use.
Technical credibility and clear limitations take priority over marketing language.
Software should assist engineers while keeping assumptions, checks and decisions visible.
Each product should solve a specific technical problem well, with the smallest useful surface area.
“Engineering software earns trust by showing its work.”
fr.aime labs was founded from first-hand experience of the gap between powerful analysis software and the practical tasks needed to reach an engineering decision.
We build narrowly, document limitations and keep professional judgement where it belongs: with the engineer.
